J. F. Ranhofer is a principal of Granite Pacific Financial and Insurance Services Inc., a leading estate and financial planning firm.

Mr. Ranhofer has an extensive background in finance. He was a “turnaround” executive and consultant for such major corporations as Ajax Rent-A-Car, Denny’s Restaurants, Winchell’s Donuts, Uniglobe Travel (founded by the President of Century 21 Real Estate of Canada), El Pollo Loco Restaurants, and many more.

A “turnaround” executive is typically hired on a contract basis by a corporation’s Board of Directors to address problems in its organization that its current management team has been unable to resolve.

Mr. Ranhofer’s current practice involves money management functions, retirement and estate planning as well as designing tax reduction plans. He is also a consultant to a number of financial services firms in California, Texas, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, Utah, Connecticut, Georgia, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, and Massachusetts.

He has numerous advanced certifications in tax, estate planning, and finance:

• C.E.P. (Certified Estate Planner).
• Member of the National Council for Certified Estate Planners.

His interest in retirement planning was a result of his own mother’s experience with long term care issues. His various financial workshops have been given to such prestigious groups as Parsons Engineering Retiree Association, the Masons, Eastern Star, the American Association of Independent Investors, the Jewish War Veterans, various unions and religious organizations, and many others. He has been an invited guest on television and radio with appearances on KWHY, Channel 22 (the Financial Channel) and on many radio shows due to his expertise in financial matters.

He currently hosts a radio program on KGIL 1260 AM has been a frequent guest on KKLA Radio, KRLA, KABC Talk Radio, KMZT and KKGO. Recently, he has been nominated for Advisor of the Year by Senior Market Advisor magazine.
